Hi! I'm Sheila

I'm your RMT & Yoga Guide here at Earth + Ember.
I genuinely love my career as a massage therapist. As a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) since 2009, I’m deeply committed to helping each person find relaxation, relief, and a stronger connection to their well-being.
In addition to massage therapy, I offer customized private yoga sessions that empower individuals to find movement that's functional, safe, and inspiring. I began my personal yoga practice at 12 years old and completed my first Yoga Teacher Training 10 years later in 2012. For me, yoga is an amazing way to connect with one's self, and I cherish the opportunity to guide clients through practices that are tailored to their unique needs.
Warmth, grounding, and creativity are at the heart of my practice.

Registered Massage Therapy
I blend modalities and techniques to provide a unique approach that prioritizes both relaxation and therapeutic relief. Care is focused on your current concerns and goals. While some techniques can be integrated into a general session, others need to be requested in advance.
Yoga + Wellness
Yoga means "to yoke" and is, at its core, about connection. My private sessions centre around helping you connect with your body in ways that feel nourishing, doable, and true to where you are.
Sessions are competely tailored to you, and can include anything from gentle movement and breathwork to rest, reflection, and wellness planning.
You might be working toward movement goals with a more traditional yoga practice (Earth Sessions), or exploring body awareness, nervous system support, and personalized care through a more integrative lens (Ember Sessions). Either way, your needs shape the experience.
Aromatherapy + Herbalism
Though not currently part of my services, I am a certified Aromatherapist and Herbalist. If you're interested in these offerings, I’d love to hear from you! Your feedback will help me shape how I can best incorporate them into future treatments.
