Massage Therapy
I blend modalities and techniques to provide a unique approach that prioritizes both relaxation and therapeutic relief. Your feedback and requests help tailor your treatments over time. While some techniques can be integrated into a general session, others need to be requested in advance.
Please note that I'm not currently taking new clients. If you are new to Earth + Ember, you can join the waitlist for massage.

Swedish
A classic massage style that uses long, smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and ease muscle tension. Ideal for those seeking a gentle, yet effective way to relieve stress and enhance overall well-being.

Deep Tissue
This massage uses slow, deliberate strokes and firm pressure to target chronic tension and pain, effecting deeper layers of tissue. This makes it perfect for addressing specific areas of discomfort or injury, and releasing long-standing tension patterns.

Deep Flow
Deep Flow blends deep tissue work with flowing, rhythmic movements to enhance the release of tension and promote relaxation. It targets deep-seated muscle tightness while fostering a sense of fluidity and ease throughout the body. Deep Flow Massage also incorporates breathwork to deepen body awareness, release tension, and support emotional and physical healing.

Jade Hot Stone
Smooth, heated jade stones are placed on key points of the body and used dynamically throughout the session to relax muscles and improve circulation. The warmth of the stones, combined with gentle massage, helps release tension and promote deep relaxation. Jade stones are smoother and retain heat longer than traditional basalt stones, and their various shapes provide a more customizable experience. Since the stones need to be heated beforehand, please let me know in advance if you’d like to your next treatment to be a hot stone!

Indian Head Massage
Part of the Ayurvedic healing system, this massage uses aromatic oils to gently manipulate soft tissues in the shoulders, neck, scalp, and face while you are relaxing in a chair. Full treatments range in time between 45-60 minutes. Let me know if you'd like to make your next treatment an Indian Head Massage!

Shiatsu
A traditional Japanese therapy that uses pressure and stretches along the body’s energy pathways (meridians) to restore balance and promote healing. While I may incorporate elements of Shiatsu into my table-based treatments, a full Shiatsu session is performed on a futon with the client fully clothed. This approach is offered as a separate treatment. Please let me know if you’d like to schedule a Shiatsu session for your next appointment!

Myofascial Cupping
By gently lifting the tissue, cupping helps to address restrictions, improve circulation, and release muscle tension. Cupping can be integrated into most treatments, and I may suggest it if I believe it could benefit your specific needs. Let me know if you're interested in adding cupping to your session!

Kinetic Massage
This technique focuses on creating movement within an area, rather than applying pressure. It is particularly beneficial for areas with decreased mobility, such as those affected by osteoarthritis. Kinetic Massage aims to improve flexibility, restore pain-free range of motion, and support overall comfort in mobility.

Prenatal
Specifically designed for the comfort and well-being of pregnant individuals. Supportive positioning and gentle techniques are used to alleviate common pregnancy-related discomforts, such as back pain, swelling, and stress.
