Massage Therapy and One-on-one Yoga
Please read all policies carefully.
1. Cancellation Policy

Under 24 Hours’ Notice: Cancellations made between 5 and 24 hours before your session will incur a standard fee of 50% of the appointment cost.

Under 5 Hours or No-Show: Cancellations under 5 hours, or missing an appointment entirely, will incur a 100% fee.

Short Notice Filled Cancellations: If a late cancellation occurs, and I am able to successfully fill your spot from my cancellation list, your fee will be reduced to a flat $20 short-notice rate.
Avoid cancellation fees by sending a friend, or family member in your place.
2. Illness Policy

For the health and safety of everyone, please do not attend your appointment if you are experiencing cold and flu symptoms, or new, sudden, unexplained cold-like symptoms (cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever).

Please cancel with as much notice as possible.

If you must cancel within the 24-hour window due to sudden illness, a flat $20 fee will apply. This policy helps ensure the safety and well-being of all clients and myself.

3. Healthy + Safe Practice
I want your sessions to be as safe, healing, and effective as possible!
If you are experiencing any changes to your health, I require notification at least 24 hours before your next appointment. Enforcement of this policy will be subject to the cancellation policy, determined by the time of notification.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of potential health changes.
Reasons your appointment will be cancelled:
- Contagious conditions (flu, colds, skin infections)
- Acute inflammation, high fever
- Recent injuries, fractures, open wounds
- Sprains + strains within 72 hours
- Fractures within 6-8 weeks
- Hematomas within 72 hours
- Concussions within 72 hours (then would require medical clearance)
- Tattoos within 2-4 weeks
- Intoxication
- New or worsening neurological symptoms like increased tingling or numbness
- Blood clots / Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- I am not 100% sure that massage will be safe at this time
The specific area will be avoided:
- Local skin issues (burns, (non-contagious) rashes, bruises, warts
- Varicose veins, localized lumps
- Acute joint sprains, localized swelling
- Minor superficial skin procedures (Mole removals, skin tag removals, punch biopsies) within 1–2 weeks.
Doctor's written clearance before appointment required:
- Cancer or oncology treatment
- Chronic conditions (unmanaged high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney failure, severe diabetes)
- Bleeding disorders or use of heavy blood thinners
- High-risk pregnancies
- Recent Surgery
- Major abdominal surgery within 4-6 weeks
- Orthopaedic surgery 6-8 weeks
- Cardiothoracic surgery 8-12 weeks
